SOLUTION TO MATH EXAMS QUESTION //TRIGONOMETRY Q4//
Hello everyone! It’s another beautiful day with Math. In this video, I explained in detail the solution to question 4 on my list. It’s a trigonometry question where we are given that Sinθ = 3/5, and we are required to find the values of Cosθ and Tanθ.
Since we were given the value of Sinθ, I applied the trigonometric identity formula:
Sin²θ + Cos²θ = 1
to find the value of Cosθ. After substituting and solving, we found Cosθ to be 4/5.
Next, using the quotient identity formula:
Tanθ = Sinθ / Cosθ,
we substituted the known values and calculated Tanθ to be 3/4.
Below is the step-by-step process on the online white board, showing the two different methods used to obtain the same result.
