This is Pterophorus pentadactyla , commonly called the white plume moth, belonging to the family Pterophoridae. So small and slender, often seen clinging with outstretched wings like a cross behind the leaves of plants or weeds. The wings of the moth are downy, and the legs have branches like fine twigs.
