Sundanese Gossamerwing (Euphaea sp.): Endemic Damselfly of Indonesia 

I'm not an entomologist. However, my journeys in the last few years, observing and documenting the world of insects have taught me a lot. I had the opportunity to witness firsthand their behavior, mating, and the stages of the metamorphosis process (although this one is incomplete). It was impressive, I enjoyed it, and I never thought of stopping.

I did this series of documentation about the life of the damselfly endemic to Indonesia, Euphaea variegata (Rambur, 1842), commonly called the Sundanese gossamerwing. The habitat is found in Java, Bali, and Sumatra.

I captured two of the several stages of the damselfly life cycle; a newly emerged damselfly (after molting) and an adult damselfly. If possible, I would like to witness the complete stages of the damselfly life cycle. But I need a lot of time to do the observations. It can take days. Maybe someday.
