Plexippus paykulli | Pantropical Jumping Spider
Jumping spiders are my favorite macro subject, and what I love most about them are their marble eyes. So wherever I find jumping spiders, I'm always interested in capturing them.
This is a jumping spider that was taken in my yard—a male, I think. Plexippus paykulli , I guess is that species of spider. He is also often called the pantropical jumping spider.
Those eyes...kept bulging, round like shiny black marbles.
Seeing his behavior, it's so adorable, especially when he prances and shakes his pair of pedipalps.
This little guy loves to play hide and seek; he slipped behind a leaf and suddenly reappeared. Yes, sometimes he irritates you. But you can assume that you are playing with kids, so you have to be patient with them. 😃

Fantastic work, I love to see jumping spiders although I've never photographed one as yet.
Thanks Darren. I think you should try it sometime :D
It's finding them in the uk that I have problems with lol
Have they all migrated until there is nothing left? 😆😂

Looks like this guy was ready to pose for the camera :)
Thanks @erikah. Yes, whenever and wherever this guy is ready. But sometimes there is too much overacting, so it takes extra patience when shooting... LOL
This one is so awesome! Great job!
Thanks @haastrecht :)
Had shot similar pictures couple of years back and know the struggle behind it. Great shots man!
