Phintella vittata
Here I would like to contribute some macro images to the #AmazingNature Community.
Phintella vittata, the banded Phintella jumper (belonging to the family Salticidae), was captured in a local forest.
The drizzle had just stopped that afternoon, so the raindrops were sticking to this little guy's body. It looked like he didn't have time to take shelter, or maybe he had forgotten to bring an umbrella.
The spider is dark metallic green with a golden belly and black bands. With these characteristics, I dare to conclude that the spider is a male.
I'll bring a female Phintella jumper here, but I have to find her first; maybe next time. 😊
