Monomad: Zizina

This afternoon, I took the time to walk in a field near my house. That's the choice I'm forced to make, considering that it will be dusk in 30 minutes. Around the field, a lot of overgrown grass and weeds were knee-high. I think I can find some little friends there who are willing to be photographed. But it was an environment desolate from the existence of insects. Maybe it was caused by the hot weather today, so almost no insects were found except for this little butterfly, Zizina otis, or what is commonly called lesser grass blue. They were busy flying low to and fro and occasionally perching on weeds. That's when they let me take some photos. Yeah, they are friendly little pals.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
