Monomad: Unique Habits of Giant Resin Bees

Every time I walk through the Alue Lim Valley, my eyes are drawn to the dried twigs lining the route. That way, I hope to find the insects hanging out there. Yeah, bees or wasps prefer to perch on dry twigs during the rainy season.

At certain moments, giant resin bees appear in small groups—this is not a type of bee that lives in colonies. The giant resin bee is a species of leaf-cutter bee. They have unique habits; Maybe you often notice giant resin bees biting dry twigs. That's how they sharpen their saws (jaws).

Some macro shots here might explain the habits of giant resin bees.

I always find it interesting to find insects in the branches and more when it is a difficult situation to see constantly, beautiful photos and a successful moment to capture!
