Monomad: Translucent White Fungi

Marasmiellus candidus is the fungus's actual scientific name, according to mycologists . This kind of fungus is abundant throughout the world's tropical and subtropical forests. The gills are translucent and look a lot like seashells. Even when the brightness is reduced with monochromatic edits, the translucent hue of the gills still stands out. As a result, it resembles a decorative lamp more than a mushroom. This fungus was found by me in a nearby forest. You may notice the fungus growing in clusters on the rotting wood branches after many days of continuous rain. However, you will face a difficult challenge when battling ferocious mosquitoes that are ravenous for blood in the forest.

I'll be submitting these images for today's #monomad challenge round.
