Monomad: Translucent Delicatula

This rainy season is quite challenging for mushroom hunting. There are many mushrooms with various species waiting for us in the dark and damp forests. The translucent Delicatula (Delicatula integrella) is a type of mushroom that commonly grows in the rainy season. The whiteness of the mushrooms contrasts sharply with the dark background. It was as if they were a light so that we wouldn't get lost.

But for sure, there was a price you had to pay to find them. You have to go through muddy roads, and on the other hand, vicious forest mosquitoes are ready to welcome you there—yeah, the rainy season is the best time for mosquitoes to breed—as well as something that is no less terrible and disgusting: bloodsuckers!

That's why, before going out into the field, we first smeared our skin with anti-mosquito lotion, and it turns out this is also an effective way to anticipate bloodsuckers.
