Monomad: Those who are lucky and those who have to be patient a lot

It's mating season for wasp moths and perhaps for other insects as well. Actually, they can do it anytime and anywhere. Nothing prevents them from mating except death.

A male moth must find a female partner to mate with. I thought the process was so simple and fast—not as convoluted as humans.

There are also those who are alone: the female waiting to be approached by a male, and conversely, the male who is glancing around and wondering which female he wants to mate with.

They are patient enough to wait for the right moment. Yeah, you don't have to rush because everyone will have their turn.
