Monomad: The Quiet Girl

I noticed a crab spider in my yard. She just sat there stiffly on my wife's ornamental plant. She was so calm, like a crocodile sunbathing; even when I got too close, she remained silent and ignored me. The two pairs of front legs are quite long and are always extended forward; those were sturdy, muscular legs. She has many eyes, but I can see only four of them, and they are so small. Her entire body was translucent; that looked beautiful instead of scary. Maybe she was daydreaming? I don't care about that. That's good; I can take photos as I like. I love this monochromatic tone; it suits her translucent body.

The crab spider does look elegant and your capture of her is excellent.
