Monomad: The Great Artist

I love spiders for all the uniqueness they have. More than fifty thousand species of spiders are estimated to be distributed in various parts of the world.

In my opinion, most of them (orb-weaver spiders) are great artists. I even suspect that maybe they also master mathematics. They create cobwebs with intricate, neat, and beautiful patterns.

This one belongs to the family of orb-weaver spiders, commonly called the snail-mimicking spider, perhaps since the abdomen resembles a snail shell.

The spider had an abdomen so strange, it was triangular with two markings resembling compound eyes—reminding me of what an alien character looked like.

Maybe she was also a great artist? I'm sure she's the one!

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

At first I didn't understand what I was seeing in the pictures, but when I saw the one with the spider webs I thought they were amazing, I'm not a spider lover, but these pictures are definitely worth it!

Thank You. When I was a child, I was very afraid of spiders. But now I realize one thing: nothing is impossible. If lions can befriend humans, isn't it even more possible for spiders? :D
