Monomad: Tetracera scandens

Hey everyone! Here I will share some macro shots that were captured using a phone camera, and all of them have been converted with black and white filters.

This is Tetracera scandens, a kind of shrub that I met near a swamp this afternoon. Commonly called the malakatmon, which seems to be a local name in the Philippines. Meanwhile in Indonesia, this plant has several local names in each region, including rempelas in Aceh, kasapan in Java, akosempalay in Jambi, and akar mempelas in areas where the majority are Malays. I captured the beautiful parts of these plant organs, such as flower buds, blooming flowers, and fruit. I hope you like them.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
