Monomad: stay home, stay safe

It was a great weekend for me. I didn't have to go far into the forest to find interesting macro subjects, because apparently there was a spot that was full of insects, and it was close to a coffee shop where we used to hang out every evening. Initially, I casually walked to the grassy ground to just get some cool air that afternoon. But then I realized that there were lots of fascinating insects inhabiting the shrubs.

This is one of them, a paper wasp. She had a small home hanging off the grass, and it looked like she was the only one living there.

She didn't go anywhere; she was just enjoying the weekend relaxing in her humble little home. I think it was the right choice. Sometimes you need solitude instead of being in a crowd on weekends.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
