Monomad: Spider Cannibalism

According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, cannibalism is the human behavior or action of eating human flesh. Actually, I don't want to discuss it since it's too horrifying and revolting.

Cannibalism is prevalent in animals, and I occasionally observe it in insects; for example, in the case of dragonflies, a female normally eats the male after mating. I accidentally noticed that arachnids engage in cannibalism as well. A jumping spider eats another jumping spider.

This is thought to be unusual in arachnids. Jumping spiders prefer to eat insects as prey. Do spiders devour spiders? It's the first time I've ever seen something like this.

Let's forget about cannibalism for a while; I just wanted to show you the photos below, which, despite depicting cannibalism in arachnids, can be considered works of macro photography art, and this will be my entry for today's #monomad contest. Thank you!
