Monomad: Snowy Oysterling

These were captured during the rainy period in November 2023. At that time, almost three times a week, I always took a walk in the woods. Fallen leaves and broken twigs were scattered here and there. The litter thickens to several centimeters from the ground surface. Those that were previously dry then turn damp and attract parasites such as fungi. Snowy oysterlings stuck to small twigs; it was a common sight at that time. They are small and adorable, with gills shaped like clam shells. They only look beautiful if you look at them from a very close range; my phone camera captured it well.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
