Monomad: Relax for a moment

So one time, I noticed a male, dark-bodied damselfly on the banks of the Saweuk River. Perhaps he was tired from flying continuously, so he perched to relax on a twig while catching his breath. A gentle mountain breeze blew, causing the twig he was perched on to sway. It made him feel at ease, so he was reluctant to fly again.

"Why rush to fly when you still have time to relax?"

That's the moment that most amateur photographers, including me, have been waiting for. I shot him blindly. But because of the wind, I only got a few nice angles.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
