Monomad: Phyllanthus simplex

This is Phyllanthus simplex, a kind of weed commonly used as an herb in Sri Lanka and India. Whether in Indonesia the Phyllanthus plant is also used as an herb, I have no idea because I've never heard that.

I saw these growing in the grass as we walked this afternoon. The seeds were lined up under the leaves, so I was interested in capturing them. If you see the seeds why are they on top? It's because I've turned them over, so they look pretty. Yeah, sometimes simple but beautiful things escape our attention. This Phyllanthus plant, for example! By turning them colorless, I think they still look beautiful.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
