Monomad: Parachute Marasmius

These pics were taken in the second week of June. It was the dry season, but occasionally it rained too. So I can go mushroom hunting after that. According to estimates, the rainy season should have started in September. But did you know? It hasn't rained much lately. This really confuses me.

What I am sharing here is the parachute mushroom belonging to the family Marasmius.

Most of them had their caps looking wrinkled and almost withered. Yes, I found them too late. If I had come a day earlier, I would have found the mushrooms fresher than at that time. But despite all that, they still look beautiful, right?

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

The mushroom photography is quite good and I like seeing the mushrooms that have an umbrella-like shape when it rains.
