Monomad: Mimi, the Hyllus Jumper

Hey everyone! I want to introduce you to my new acquaintance, Mimi. She's a sweet and agile little girl. I found her in my yard, and immediately we became friends. Mimi is a Hyllus jumping spider, three times bigger than the wall jumping spider. She had thick hair. I can confirm that she rarely shaves; she shouldn't do that because it will look strange and ugly. When we first met, she suddenly jumped on my finger. What a spoiled little girl! I let Mimi creep softly onto my fingers because I knew she wouldn't hurt me.

OMG she is sooo cute!

I LOve spiders- well not to crawl over me but to share homes with anyway and it is so good to see such am amazing gorgeous little creature like her up so close and personal.

She is adorable and you are lucky to have her.

I HATE it when stupid people kill spiders, so more photos like this to educate people are needed.

All spiders are my friends- when they're in their own space- even of that is on my wall or wherever, as long as they stay there and they pay their rent on time (eat all the other insects...) then we're all good.

I love these little guys, they have really good vision unlike most spiders, you can tell by the way they keep facing your finger if you move it closer to them.
