Monomad: Macrophotography of Ant-loving Lacewing

I've seen lacewing eggs many times. The eggs are embedded in fine hairs and attached to leaves or twigs; they are like balloons filled with helium gas. But the mom of the eggs?

This afternoon, I found their mother hugging a dry twig. She was so pretty. She was called the ant-loving lacewing.

She has net wings and is transparent, so you can see her abdomen through the wings.

But I didn't find any eggs there. Perhaps she hid them somewhere safe. Yes, she was the best mother. It is fitting for her to protect her eggs well.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

The image display of the insect that your best friend shows is really very beautiful.
