Monomad: 'Little Ghost'

I captured this tiny insect about two weeks ago. The tussock moth hangs on a dry weed stalk. Thick fur, and her eyes like those of an owl. It's a bit scary to see the moth hanging like the little ghost that many people imagine. Could it be that she fell asleep, or was she camouflaging herself? It makes sense that she would be fast asleep during the day, considering that moths are nocturnal insects. I hurriedly left the 'little ghost' after taking a few clicks for fear that I would disturb her sleep. Yes, she was still asleep when I left her.
