Monomad: Katydid

It's the katydid, local people here call it daruet jen, which means devil grasshopper. Whoever first named it with such a scary term probably had a bad experience with katydids.

Yesterday afternoon's walk brought me together with this little guy. I noticed his calm demeanor while his claws gripped the leaf bed tightly.

But I think the katydid has a scary face, especially those devilish eyes. So it's no wonder it's called daruet jen.

Oh, it seems I'm judging this guy too much. He's just a cute little monster.
