Monomad: Hunchback Fly

This is the most "polite" fly I have ever seen. Whether it has back pain, its body's always bent over. Ah! Please don't take it seriously because this is just my joke.

The hunchback fly (Toxophora fasciculata)—that's how this insect is named. In my opinion, its physical appearance is why the common name is attached to this fly. What a sneaky little guy! You will never know where this fly is unless you look closely at the tops of grass or weeds. That's where the hunchback fly often perches. I caught it yesterday afternoon. It's cool, almost like a mosquito.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

I don't think I've ever seen a humpback fly before, it's interesting to discover different species every day. Beautiful pictures, I love how accurate the details are!
