Monomad: Frosty Bonnet

Here I'm submitting some macro photos for the current round of the #monomad challenge.

A few days ago, I spotted frosty bonnets in the North Aceh rainforest. The mushroom is extremely tiny, easily fragile, and unquestionably quite adorable. The scientific name for this frosty bonnet, Mycena adscendens , is a species of fungus belonging to the family Mycenaceae. The frosty bonnet's translucent stem and cap are what I love about it best.
