Monomad: Fantastic Fungi (Schizophyllum commune)
Here are some shots of splitgills, also known as loose Chinese fans (Schizophyllum commune). The frequent rain in December caused these mushrooms to grow fantastically everywhere. The cap's surface is dull and rough, but this fungus has wonderful gills. Young mushrooms grow like warts (not yet showing gills) on dead wood and twigs, and in the following days, they bloom like loose Chinese fans. Even more fantastically, these mushrooms can survive for a long time—up to several weeks—even when exposed to the hot sun.

Beautiful 😘👍
Thanks Nek Youn :D
Very beautiful, it looks like a flower, excellent pictures
Exactly! Like flowers in spring. Thank you :)
Eehh ma'rut, when we want to use the black and white filter, does it count when we choose the classic filter instead of BW? How to do that on macro? Do we need editing?
Jak budix... Hp tanyo saban!!
Why my photo is not as stunning as yours😭
The classic filter is not the same as BW filter even though the sepia tone is close. It's easy to try using the lightroom mobile app.
Oohh.. I'll see what I can do then🤦 my phone is crying, too many apps and photos 😂
I think this is the first time I've seen a type of mushroom like this, it really looks very striking and also a bit scary, it reminds me of a series that is based on some mushrooms that have a similar appearance. Beautiful pictures!
Thanks. I don't know the climate in your country. But if there is a tropical area, you will often see mushrooms like this.
I have never seen a mushroom like that. Beautiful how it grows ❤️ you captured it beautifully and in b/w it is even more stunning 😍
Thanks @nathalie-s
I just say amazing!
Happy New Year!
Thanks. Happy New Year to you too :)
Keren jepretannya, bang.
Terimakasih
Your captures of this fungus are so beautiful! But: You shouldn't take a deep breath close to this mushroom since its spores can grow new mycel in the lungs of persons with a weak immune system. Very spooky!
