Monomad: Epeus Jumper

"All roads lead to Rome." I think you must be familiar with this idiom. Sometimes it takes a lot of tricks to achieve your wishes. But one thing is for sure: I am always committed not to do any dirty tricks.

How can you subdue or make wild animals tame? I often see people throwing meat at them. But that doesn't mean you can just subdue them. If you're not careful, you could become their meal.

In the case of small animals such as spiders, they can also be tamed by throwing meat to attract them (flies, maggots, and so on). After finding prey, they will usually stop acting or their movements will slow down; the only thing they do is to guard as best they can so that their prey does not escape.

When I found this one guy, there was nothing I could give him. There is not a single fly that I can swat and offer to him. But I'm not out of my mind. I hid behind a leaf hole. He couldn't see me. On the other hand, I can freely photograph him through the leaf hole. Jumping spiders are agile little animals and have many tricks up their sleeves. But I'm not out of tricks, either!

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
