Monomad: Efforts to Survive in the Wild
That afternoon, the atmosphere seemed quiet when I stopped in a grassy field that was not very wide. Even though the weather was still sunny, that didn't necessarily make me feel hot. The gentle breeze makes the atmosphere there cool.
There was nothing I could see there other than the grass swaying gently as if following the rhythm of the gusts of wind.
But wait a minute! I smelled something wrong around me. I glanced around, and my eyes caught small robbers perched on dry twigs and weeds that grew as high as my chest.
I just realized that it was a hunting ground for little robbers. They are sniffing out potential prey from their hiding places.
Different from wild dogs or hyenas, which hunt in packs, these little robbers each hunt individually when ambushing their prey.
Even though they are robbers, they are not greedy like the corruptors who rob state money. They only stole what was needed to survive in the cruel wilderness.
