Monomad: Collybia

I have some photos of mushrooms to share, and I've edited them in a monochromatic tone.

I think those mushrooms belong to the genus Collybia. I took the photos in December 2023 in a local forest. Yeah, in December, our forests are abundant with a variety of mushrooms.

Some of the mushrooms here have a kind of ring on their stems, while others just have plain stems. I don't know whether the rings are supposed to be there or have been peeled off the stem, or whether they could be different species, but I still believe those mushrooms belong to the same genus, Collybia.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

There's always something magical about mushrooms and I love how you capture them. Dope shot
