Monomad: Coatbuttons with the Pollinator

In Indonesia, we don't know spring because, in the tropical country we live in, there are only two seasons: the dry season and the rainy season.

Currently, the rainy season is underway. Yeah, the rain has returned to the land that was once dry and now fertile again; the grass that was previously yellow is now green again; the trees whose leaves had fallen are now green again; and the flowers are now beginning to bloom and spread fragrantly.

Many are happy with the current conditions, including the pollinators, who are also celebrating their beautiful days. They woke up early and started racing to the blooming flowers.

I caught one of them, the hoverfly. This guy alighted on the coatbutton flower.

He sucked up the sweet nectar to his heart's content and then moved on to another flower.

There was no more beautiful day for him than this moment. Yeah, the day when flowers bloom and nectar is abundant.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
