Monomad Challenge: Peaceful Spider

Here is my entry for the #monomad challenge, which includes these few close-up shots.

The orb-weaver spider stays still on its web in a relatively calm position. In between the dangling roots of untamed trees, the web was built. The spider's legs are crossed in the shape of a scissor. Perhaps the spider was sound asleep? Or perhaps a stern warning: if you don't want to get wounded, don't try to disturb its rest.
