Monomad: Bristly Tropical Cup
About two weeks ago, I was walking around the Nisam Antara forest park exploring nature when I came across some bristly tropical cup mushrooms (Cookeina tricholoma) heaped among the moss. The environment is still damp, the mushrooms appear to be fresh, and they have not shrunk.
There is an uncommon type of fungus called the bristly tropical cup. It only exists in the highlands when the air is humid. On the fruit's body, mushrooms are pink and hairy.
As I said, even if I converted the image to monochromatic tones, you can still imagine how lovely the mushrooms would have been in their natural color. As a matter of fact, I submitted these images for the #monomad challenge.
