Monomad: A Race for Survival

Here I've included some macro pics for the daily #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.

Look at this cute jumper spider! It recently caught a fly.

A fly typically moves quickly and can take flight just as quickly, sometimes even quicker than the blink of your eyes. But the jumper spider still wins the race with a fly. The fly would unquestionably lose to the jumper spider in a "running race" if the two of them were competing against one another.

This can also be called a " running race," but it is just a race for survival between a predator and its prey. The fly ultimately ends up as a tasty "sandwich" for the jumper spider.
