Male Two-striped Jumper (Telamonia dimidiata)
Yesterday, I noticed this furry little guy while taking shelter under a tree near the Lhok Gajah Reservoir, North Aceh. He crawls like a tractor and occasionally jumps on leaves. I watched his movements, and with alert behavior, he tried to ascertain his surroundings very carefully. I guess that it was a mission to stalk prey.
A male two-striped jumper (Telamonia dimidiata), no doubt! This is a species of jumping spider common in the tropical rainforests of Asia.
The head is dark brown with a yellow stripe, the abdomen has a dark brown stripe, and the transparent brown legs have dark brown on the middle segments of the four front legs.
