I captured a green mantis on a weed flower a few days ago. As if dancing there, it crawled back and forth while its head swayed. The front legs, which are like serrated machetes, are always folded. Could it be that the mantis was showing me the machete dance?

The giant Asian mantis (Hierodula sp.) is common in Indonesia. Where there are bushes, these praying mantises often appear. It is green, which allows the mantis to camouflage quite well among the foliage. It already has wings, which indicates that it is an adult. Is it male? or female? I don't have any idea about that.
