FungiFriday: Twig Parachutes (Marasmiellus sp.)

Rain occasionally comes down during the dry season as a consolation for plants suffering from drought. After the rain passes, some mushrooms appear the next day. Rain and mushrooms are the most beautiful gifts during the dry season.

The damp smell of litter hit us as we entered the local forest. Those twig parachutes (Marasmiellus sp.) like nails were strewn everywhere. They were fresh mushrooms; it was time to get out my phone's camera to take some photos. I couldn’t miss a single one!
