FungiFriday: Just Give Mauve Parachutes to Your Girlfriend 😁

There are many species belonging to the genus Marasmius, in my opinion, Marasmius haematocephalus, known as the mauve parachute is the most beautiful. Its purple color is unique; it is truly pleasing to the eye.

There are many mushroom spots on the outskirts of my town, but I can only find this one (mauve parachute) in the southern forest. Why not in other forests? I have no idea how to explain it to you.

And one more thing, I only see them in December. I think it is quite reasonable considering that in that month the frequency of rain in our area usually occurs more than in other months.

For those of you who have a girlfriend or wife, a bunch of mauve parachutes might be an alternative instead of giving them flowers. But I dare not guarantee that they will be happy to receive that. 😁
