FungiFriday: Filoboletus manipularis

I remember it being October. At that time, the rainfall was high in Aceh. And those are the moments when there is no day without mushrooms. You will see an abundance of mushrooms in any forest you explore. Yeah, last October, beautiful parasites seemed to be waiting for any mushroom lover who had free time to explore the forest.

The universe was kind enough to surprise us by leading us to a colony of luminous porecaps (Filoboletus manipularis).

"What a magic mushroom! Its magical power is truly enchanting!" My friend said it with wide eyes when he saw this mushroom. I know what he means; he was captivated by the fact that the fungus was bioluminescent in the dark.

But something was missing; sawdust had polluted the mushrooms.
