FungiFriday: Chef's Hat Fungus (Mallocybe sp.)

Unlike the others, this is the first time I saw it while hunting mushrooms in the woods. The chef's hat; I think this one belongs to Mallocybe sp. The cap is brown and clenched with slightly wide split gills, the stem is large like a sturdy wood and mycelium is visible at the base. I found the mushroom growing on a mossy rotten tree trunk in the woods south of my town. I love those caps, so I named it the chef's hat.
