Solar Rechargeable LED Light - Solar, Lithium-ion & LED techs have grown up
Solar Rechargeable LED Light
I'm a big fan of solar energy. Apart from the technology's potential to reduce environmental damage, when it really gets optimised, it also creates a lot of convenience. As a product reviewer, I've noticed an increase in the number of products that now come with a solar panel of sorts. It reminds me of the early days of USB. Battery technology has also improved a lot. Lithium-ion technology has really moved us ahead in that area. Low energy, high efficiency, LED technology is the third pillar in the trifecta. Those three things making the leaps and bounds in the past two decades have brought us to a world where we can charge a light by solar and have it last all night. That was unfathomable just a couple of decades ago.
I'm waiting for the day when solar is so efficient and optimised that the body of my computer would be made entirely of solar panels. Of course the display technology would also have advanced to the point that it uses up only fractions of the amount of energy it requires now. The battery tech would, indeed, have leaped forward remarkably to make this happen. This may sound impossible now, and I'm sure people can show me why not but, when it comes to science and technology, I never say never ever again.
Peace & Love,
Adé
I bought something like that a while back. Mine don't have moveable lights and just a small panel on top, but they give really good light. One seems to have stopped working recently, but they have been up for a couple of years. Not having to run cables to them is a big advantage.
BTW I have never used Tiktok. I just don't need yet another platform.
They're really good! I have one that's been going for 6 years now.
Tiktok reached out to me via email and offered to monetise my account straight away so I started using it earlier this year
Fair enough. Got to exploit those opportunities.
