Here is another beauty, something made possible by the trifecta I keep talking about: Lithium-ion, Solar energy and LED technology.
It's an outdoors/camping fan/light/powerbank that is both solar and usb chargeable. I bought this item, as opposed to being sent it for a review, but I did the review anyway and placed an affiliate link in the video (every little counts right?).
It's actually really handy. Fans are all the rage this summer. I don't know where they came from, but all of a sudden everyone had a fan hanging down their neck, or wrapped around it, as they went about their day. Those small USB desktop fans were also all over the place.
Perhaps there's been another breakthrough to add to the trifecta; the electric motor. I've noticed they, like LED, have also become more energy efficient. That means they now draw less energy than they used to, hence can work for longer. The direct effect of this is the sudden explosive proliferation of fans, tiny vacuums, food processors, drills etc. The basic tech is the same; a battery and a motor, with something moulded around them to carry out a function.
We may have the era of electric cars to thank for this. This gave birth to other highly efficient motors like those used in electric scooters and skateboards. The next decade is going to be exciting. I'm predicting we will see a lot more miniaturised household devices and, eventually as it's only a matter of time, a backpack drone that can carry an average adult in a short flight.

Years ago I bought a little solar battery bank, but it was not much use really. Those have got so much cheaper and better since then to make this sort of device viable. I can see it being really useful for camping. They just needed to build in a Bluetooth speaker :)
HA! A bluetooth speaker would make it perfect. Or at least a radio. It've tried the solar charging and it did quite well actually

Consider revising the value plan, as it's not providing significant benefits to HIVE
