I've used this iPad for 3 years now. I bought it right at the start of the global shitedemic and it came in very useful during the lockdowns. Thankfully I have a garden and it saw a lot of use during that first summer of 2020. I watched a lot of DTube videos on it back in those days.

Apple didn't release a new one until 2023, nearly four years later, which is unusual for a company that drops a new version of their product annually. The upgrade was quite significant, as a result, but so was the increase in price. A lot of people looking to buy the Apple iPad Mini will be looking to grab the previous version, especially if they can find it new or refurbished. Budget shoppers will be looking for used ones on eBay.
