Una cosa es la expectativa o lo que se espera y otra la realidad, esto ocurre en todos los planos, pero en esta publicación haré énfasis en lo que se refiere a productos, los cuales adquirimos esperando un determinado resultado, llámese, teléfono, teclado, ventilador, laptop, monitor, entre otros.

Hace ya 8 meses que estoy usando una hermosa laptop Asus que me regalaron y si bien me viene de maravilla, pues un equipo portátil nos permite movernos no solo dentro del hogar, si no deseamos trabajar en nuestro septup, hay cosas en las que cada usuario espera un rendimiento diferente, así que les comparto brevemente como ha sido mi experiencia de uso durante estos meses, haciendo una especie de lista con los pros y los contras que he observado a lo largo de estos meses usando la laptop.

Una de las cosas que amo de esta laptop es su tamaño y es un punto a favor, sus 17.3” son una maravilla, ya que permite disfrutar de una pantalla grande y también de un teclado completo, eso si no usas un teclado externo o por motivos de viaje o trabajo solo llevas la laptop, otras de sus ventajas o pros es su precio aunque varía dependiendo de donde se compre, me parece que 540 $ es aceptable para este equipo, su diseño y color plateado es agradable a la vista lo hace atractivo, sin olvidar que al ser delgada es de fácil trasporte si consigues un bolso que sea acorde a su tamaño y peso de 2.30 kg

Otro punto su favor es que cuenta con Win 11, es cierto que en la Versión Home y S, esta última se puede desactivar cambiando la región a EEUU y para pasar a la versión de Win 11 Pro bastaría con adquirir una licencia digital, su capacidad de almacenamiento es una maravilla 1TB, su procesador Intel Core i5-1035G1 ha demostrado rendir junto a sus 12 GB de RAM (DDR4), mi hijo uso durante uno dos meses la laptop para jugar y no le escuche quejarse porque la laptop no diera la talla. Además, recuerden que posee una bahía para unidad SATA de 2,5 pulgadas y lector de tarjetas MicroSD, lo que ayuda si desea extraer información y no posees un adaptador para puerto USB.

Ahora bien, lo que no me gusta de la laptop, para empezar, tarda mucho en encender, creí era una falsa percepción de mi parte, pero comentando con la amiga que me la regalo y que compro una igual para ella, llego a la misma conclusión que yo, esto se debe que su disco es mecánico y no un SSD los que han dado una mejor y mayor velocidad de arranque y consumen menos energía. Pero una vez encendida responde de manera rápida para el resto de las tareas gracias a su procesador y memoria RAM.

Por otra, aunque su pantalla es grande, hay un par de detalles que la hacen incómoda, los ángulos de visión estrechos y el contraste, en lo particular me afecta, pues muchas veces se me dificulta ver algunas cosas en la pantalla y debo subir el brillo o buscar un mejor ángulo para ver con claridad. Tal vez sea algo que se resuelva con iluminación o cambiándola de lugar.

Así mismo, la duración de la batería es media, aunque siendo una unidad de 32 Wh podría decir que es aceptable, además de que no es removible para cambiarla, hay que destapar la laptop, por otro lado, sus dos de sus tres puertos USB Tipo-A son lentos, no posee puerto LAN, para conexión directa a internet, es decir solo puedes conectarte por wifi, lo que implica que si en algún momento se daña la tarjeta wifi deberá llevarse a servicio técnico para reemplazo o se tendrá que recurrir a una antena para poder tener acceso a internet. En cuanto a sonido, las cornetas del equipo tienen poco volumen, por lo que creo compraré otras cornetas para mi PC de escritorio y usaré las anteriores con laptop, ya que suelo escuchar música mientras trabajo.

En resumen, este equipo, es rápido para realizar tareas como subir videos, fotos a las publicaciones y ha mostrado trabajar mucho mejor desde que tengo internet, fibra óptica y como todo equipo tiene sus pros y sus contras, pero con el simple hecho de ser una portátil y poderla llevar a mi cama usarla mientras veo una serie o película usando el puff tab o escritorio portátil ya es una ventaja, me despido esperando me den sus impresiones mis queridos amigos amantes de la tecnología.

But once turned on it responds quickly for the rest of the tasks thanks to its processor and RAM.

On the other hand, although its screen is large, there are a couple of details that make it uncomfortable, the narrow viewing angles and contrast, in particular affects me, because many times it is difficult for me to see some things on the screen and I have to raise the brightness or look for a better angle to see clearly. Maybe it is something that can be solved with lighting or by changing its location.

Also, the battery life is average, although being a 32 Wh unit I could say it is acceptable, plus it is not removable to change it, you have to uncover the laptop, on the other hand, its two of its three USB Type-A ports are slow, it has no LAN port for direct internet connection, ie you can only connect via wifi, which means that if at some point the wifi card is damaged must be taken to service for replacement or you will have to resort to an antenna to access the internet. As for sound, the speakers of the equipment have little volume, so I think I will buy other speakers for my desktop PC and use the above with laptop, as I usually listen to music while working.
