Great point, the same argument is actually currently ongoing regarding AI. AI was supposed to make people's lives easier. And it should have allowed people more time to do other stuff Chief among them being spending time with their families. But at the moment all AI has managed to make us lazy. We don't do a lot of things that we were supposed to do on our own and we rely on them heavily. This needs to change and after that the same can happen with robots too.
