My journey through Hive…
My hive journey has been an awesome experience over the years. I am always grateful for life and for God's mercy over me. Hive has been a home for me over time. Though there are some other platforms I came across before and after hive and they all played a great role in impacting my experience online.
Joining hive has been from my days on steemit. Steemit was a platform where one can also blog and make vlogs too. After the down of steemit, Uptrend surfaced. It served a good purpose during the time, especially during the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.
I really got to learn a lot from the play and it also brushed my blogging experience. Uptrend crashed and then hive had been in existence. I onboarded hive again with my same account on steemit. It was kinda different and difficult to navigate then. But with time I got myself familiar with it.
My first account vanished into thin air one day I had to login to my account. I mistakenly “cut” the keys thinking I “copied” it. Then when I was to paste it, it was already erased from my clipboard. I had to go and copy it again. But I realized I already lost my keys.
I was in pain for months. It was hard to start all over again from scratch. It took me a longer time to get over it, but I finally did someday. I created my current account and then had my keys somewhere safe. The mission was to start all over again.
That was how my journey began. I joined as a newbie with experience again. With time I began to get my strength and energy back again. Writing became a part of me again.
Hive is here to stay and I have been so grateful to be a part of it. I am grateful to be a part of this amazing community.
Like I said earlier, Hive has been a home to me. This is because hive has made me meet with a lot of people with great minds. I met with friends, some turned family, some turned best buddies and we will have to mingle with as much as hive existed.
Another lovely aspect of hive was that it's been like a school of thought and knowledge for me. Hive has exposed me to a lot of new ideas and new ways. Hive has taught me to learn and continue learning. I have improved so much over time during my stay in hive.
Hive has been a source of earning to me. Hive is so lovely as it surely pays to learn. You can earn while you earn. To some it’s an active source of income and to some it’s a passive source of income. Either way, hive has been paying for the work done.
I really wish and pray for the Hive to keep going and growing over time. My journey on hive has been very nice and impactful.

It's always painful when one encounters such experience of losing one's key. The important thing was that you brushed yourself up and started again. Here you are today. Hive has proven to be amazing.
