The use of the Internet has been beneficial to businesses and many more organizations, it has been of great use to marketers, retailers, and consumers. The hotel can make use of its current website as a marketing tool serving as a form of advertisement and reaching out to people who are yet to know about its services.

The first way through which a website can be used as a marketing tool is by posting product descriptions and attaching related photos on the website. This is very important because most times customers search for products and services by different companies through their websites first so they can make comparisons on which to opt for, the images, webpage, and side attractions would go a long way to draw customers to the company.

There was a time I had an interview with a company, I got notified of the time, date, and address of the interview. Immediately after, I took my browser to check what offers were available from the company. To my greatest surprise, all I could find online were outdated updates from years ago. Then I realized it wasn't a growing company.

The second way through which a website can be used as a marketing tool is through direct sales to customers. There would be some kind of competitive advantage for the company over the others and would place the company ahead of its competitors. Customers at times prefer purchasing products online than in stores or via telephone. The online purchase comes with ease. Companies could make use of their websites to reach out to many customers as it would enable them to build solid relationships with customers from different parts of the world. The internet is everywhere and there are no limitations to the use of the internet.


Application of Blogging to Online Marketing

Blogging is just another strategy that companies could make good use of to their advantage. To establish successful blogging, companies need to have a blog that would be identified by its customers. Having a blog site shouldn’t just be for texts alone, it would entail a lot of visuals and texts too. For instance, a company can choose relevant content that would be so appealing to the customers and also provide graphics, videos, and other types of content to please their customers as they check through the blogs.

Blogs are aimed at drawing internal traffic to an organization’s internet channel. A company could receive revenues from Ads on the blog site and this would serve as a source of income to the company when other companies reach out to their website for advertisements. The host company could post phrases that would engage internet users and pass the right information about their products and services across to them.

The introduction of the web3 interface has come to make things easier and faster. There are a lot of blogging websites you could write and publish on and also you could just create one with your unique website. Social networking cannot be undervalued, marketing through the use of social media’s such as Facebook and Twitter has become a popular marketing strategy. Creating pages on Facebook where customers could get information about the goods and services that a company offers. Video adverts could be made in the form of reels and also get a lot of views. There are different ways in which web2 has also come to aid marketing strategies.

Social networking would also allow companies to learn more about the preferences of the customer and things that they would like to be done through feedback. Social networking gives another advantage to building a close and beneficial relationship with customers.


Application of User-generated Content Sites

User-generated content sites could be used to increase sales, attract customers, and make them learn more about the products available in the market. User-generated content is websites that are developed by people who visit the website. Some advantages of the user-generated content site are

  • Increased engagement between the companies and the clients and this is because customers and clients have room to express themselves freely through the site.

  • Users and customers would have access to give feedback by writing reviews about their experience with the products and what improvements they would love to see. This would surely lead to effective marketing.


Conclusion

With the present era of advanced technology, business owners should be able to present themselves in the market and make sales online. Physical marketing is not bad but there should be more ways to make sure their products are seen by many others.

Pricing also matters a lot when it comes to marketing. Fixing an affordable price would go a long way but companies should fix a little higher price than their rivals online because this enables the customers to view the products as superior with more quality.
